On May 28, 2025, the Vesper Lounge in downtown Vancouver transformed into a powerhouse of innovation and collaboration, as over 250 attendees — from startup founders and global investors to tech ecosystem builders — converged for the unforgettable UAtech Venture Night.
What unfolded was far more than a pitch competition. It was a celebration of entrepreneurial drive, marked by deep conversations and a strong sense of community spirit.
A Gathering That Mattered
UAtech Venture Night wasn’t just another stop on the global tech circuit. It was a curated space where meaningful connections were made, honest insights exchanged, and early-stage energy electrified the room. From the opening roundtables to late-night networking, the lounge buzzed with genuine curiosity and opportunity.
Investor roundtables offered startups high-value face time with decision-makers. Meanwhile, founders found a platform to share their vision and gain feedback that often turned into real leads and follow-up conversations.
60+ Startups Took the Stage
More than 60 emerging startups stepped into the spotlight to pitch in front of a discerning audience. Each pitch brought something different: bold ideas, smart tech, and founders ready to scale.
The format sparked live feedback, direct investor connections, and set off a ripple of momentum for those solving real-world problems with innovative solutions.
Two standout founders were recognized for their clarity, ambition, and potential to scale:
- Sally Chen, the overall winner of the night
- Andrii Klesov, representing a Ukrainian-founded startup
Each winner received an exclusive prize package to support their growth, including:
- SaaS tool discounts from recurring prize partner Spendbase
- A full year of access to Reply.io
- Lead generation support from Generect
- And in the case of the Ukrainian-founded startup, an extra $25,000 in AWS credits from the Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF), a powerful boost toward global scaling
