A nomination-based recognition by TechEmbassy within the UAtech 2026 Spring–Summer event season.
People Who Shape Tomorrow is a recognition from TechEmbassy and the UAtech ecosystem dedicated to individuals whose actions, ideas, or leadership influence the future of technology and society.
This is not a competition and not a ranking — it is an editorial and expert acknowledgment of meaningful impact.
We created this initiative to put the human story at the center of technology — to show that behind every breakthrough, ecosystem, or positive change there are real people with vision, courage, and responsibility.
Launched within the UAtech 2026 Spring–Summer Season
As part of the UAtech Spring–Summer 2026 season, at each TechEmbassy-operated UAtech event we will:
- announce People Who Shape Tomorrow nominees,
- recognize one recipient with a special award,
- publish a feature story/interview about the recipient on UAtech.Today.
Physical presence is not required.
The recognition can be announced on stage, and the award will be delivered directly to the recipient. Since UAtech events take place worldwide, in-person participation is optional.
What we recognize
People Who Shape Tomorrow highlights individuals who:
- build bridges across industries and communities,
- inspire innovation and responsible progress,
- strengthen ecosystems, teams, and culture,
- make innovative decisions that move the world forward.
In some events, the recognition may have an industry focus (e.g., sector-specific leadership themes), but the core idea stays the same: honoring meaningful human impact behind progress.
How nominations are sourced
Nominees are formed based on:
- recommendations from the TechEmbassy and UAtech teams,
- suggestions from partners and the ecosystem,
- editorial research by UAtech.Today,
- expert referrals.
Who selects the recipients
Recipients are selected by a special Jury composed of recognized industry experts.
This is the UAtech World Series Jury featured on our website — the experts who support our events by helping us evaluate and select startups for our Pitch Competition. The Jury also supports the selection of People Who Shape Tomorrow recipients using the criteria below.
Selection principles
- Not a contest: we don’t compare people as “better/worse” — we recognize meaningful contribution.
- Criteria-based: decisions are grounded in clear impact/leadership/process indicators.
- Global & accessible: location is not a barrier; in-person presence is optional.
Evaluation criteria
The Jury reviews candidates across five groups:
- Impact (measurable outcomes) Documented “before/after” change, tangible improvements, clear results (where applicable).
- Operational Excellence (systems and execution) Strong processes, scalable practices, repeatable results, operational maturity.
- Risk Management (responsible decision-making) Sound risk awareness, prevention mindset, data-informed actions, corrective measures.
- Leadership & Culture Positive influence on people and behavior, ability to lead change, strong communication and responsibility.
- Community / Thought Leadership Contribution to the ecosystem through mentorship, standards, public expertise, community building (when applicable).
Recipients are honored with a commemorative award and an editorial feature, along with additional acknowledgments as relevant.
